Year-long Seminars are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Math 7 $625/semester
This is year 1 of our pre-algebra sequence. Students should have completed 6th grade math or Beast Academy level 5 and be proficient in all arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) including “column-math” without a calculator, as well as basic decimal and fraction operations.
Yes, students can skip ahead if they work over the summer to complete a math 6 course and are fast at their arithmetic facts.

Honors Pre-Algebra + Math 8 $625/semester
Students who completed PA/Math 7 with me last year are ready for Math 8+ Honors Pre-Algebra this year
This is year 2 of our pre-algebra sequence, but it includes more than just pre-algebra. Students are also introduced to MUCH of traditional algebra and some geometry through our Integrated Math 8 material. This course is fast-paced and builds upon the solid foundation we established in year-one.
New students may take a placement test to see if they are ready.
MONDAYS 10:30 - 11:45 & WEDNESDAYS 1:45 TO 3:30 (Twice a week for 3 hours)
Science & Language Arts $775/semester
MONDAYS only 11:45 - 4:15 (Once a week for 4.5 hours, with recesses, including a lunch break.)
Shakespeare and Zoology - $675/semester (new class)
WEDNESDAYS only 10:30 to 1:45 (Once a week for 3.25 hours with recesses, including a lunch break.)

4:20 to 5:30 Likely time slot for Small Group Math Tuturing/Class/HW help small group on Monday or mornings on Friday

9:00 - 10:30 Math 7 with Ms. Lisa (Second day of a two-day a week class)
10:30- 1:45 Shakespeare & Zoology with Ms. Lisa- New Now with book club and writing lab
1:45 - 3:30 Honors Pre-Algebra + Math 8 with Ms. Lisa (Second day of a two-day a week class)
3:45-4:45 Ensemble Singing with Ms. Annie: jazz, musical theater and choral group singing (guest teacher)

Monday May 26 is Memorial Day therefor no classes, last Wednesday class is Wed 5/28

BREAKS
Fall Semester Class: Math starts September 4, Wednesday. All other classes start September 16th through December 18, 2024
Make-up class week is November 11 & 13. If no make-up classes are needed, this is a holiday week.
Thanksgiving Break is 11/25-29
Winter Breaks is 12/19-1/12
Spring Semester: January 13 (all classes start on same week) through April 24th, for Sci-LA and Shakespeare & Zoology and through May 14th for math classes.
Make-up week if needed over President’s Day February 17-23, otherwise one week for February Break.
Spring Break- two weeks April 7-April 18rd
